218 Events are delighted to announce that they will be organising and managing RW Learning’s online ‘Progressive Resilience Development Programme’

The director of RW Learning, Ian Rothwell, is a long time sponsor and supporter of 218’s rugby hospitality events. He has shared the 218 Journey with us from Warren Gatland and Sam Warburton in Parc y Scarlets to Six Nations hospitality events in Cardiff.

Now he has enlisted the support and event management skills of 218 Events for these groundbreaking workshops.

They will be a series of four 45 minute digitally delivered programmes that help to build personal resilience through the second COVID wave in order to cope with the challenges ahead.

The programme will be progressive in nature, starting with the key essentials in resilience development, sharing insights and practical tips that can be instantly used.  It then moves on to introduce some recent findings in the sciences relating to the brain and how it can help us to optimise our minds and thrive in challenges.  This will certainly will create some great insights into how the brain responds to challenge and how to enhance ‘positive states’ in our emotions and responses.

This will certainly give you the resilience boost you need during this next COVID wave.

The sessions with involve Ian Rothwell, business psychology leader and Carwyn Jones, former First Minster of Wales & business consultant, who will bring to life the theories but more importantly and practices of sustainable wellbeing and resilience. Our former First Minister will share some lessons learnt whilst Ian offers insights and tips that if we “could turn back the clock”, would have given him more resilience…  We will also here some fantastic insights from Carwyn, which will no doubt inspire you and offer knowledge and practices that you too can apply!

Just like Coivd-19, things change quite rapidly, in light of this, the programme is built to be flexible and respond to such changes.  We can’t predict what the workforce might want in 2-3 months’ time, so we’ve built the first three programmes which we know will hit the mark in this period.  Here is a flavour of what we will cover:
